Job Title: Front-End Web Developer/Designer
WS Darley is a 108 year-old fire pump, truck and equipment company located in Itasca, IL. Our in-house Web Department handles all of our web presence including Social Media, SEO, E-Mail marketing and design/development on a family of CMS and eCommerce websites. We are currently seeking a front-end web developer with excellent design and coding skills. Ideal candidate will have excellent HTML/CSS/Javascript skills and a sharp eye for layout, design and UI. eCommerce and CMS platform experience plus, if you have worked with any eCommerce or CMS we will consider but especially Magento, Joomla and ExpressionEngine. Responsive/mobile design experience also a plus. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us as we grow our web presence into the future with responsive design, mobile eCommerce and more. Versatility and time management skills will be strong factors when considering for this position as you will most likely be tasked with a different project week to week and sometimes day to day.

Job Title: Senior Design Engineer
Reports to: Chief Engineer
Job Location: Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin
General Responsibility: Design new products; provide technical resources to our customers and our manufacturing processes; maintain the specifications and integrity of our products; and increase the awareness, knowledge and application of new technologies.
Specific Responsibilities and Authorities:
- Design new products and equipment for in-plant use
- Perform design reviews
- Troubleshoot customer or mfg. difficulties
- Evaluate non-conforming products
- Create and maintain specifications, drawings, and BOM's
- Be primary engineering liaison for our Chinese customers
Qualifications:
- BSME degree
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Able to travel abroad
- US Citizenship
- 5 years or more of work experience in rotating equipment
- 2-D and 3-D drafting experience, preferably AutoCAD and Pro/Engineer
- FEA and CFD experience preferred, especially Mechanical and Ansys
Interrelationship to other departments
Represent engineering department to other departments and external parties
